on the afternoon of june 4, 2023, marju markkanen, tiina martiinen, president of finland, and liang xu, president of finnish-chinese innovation and education association, accompanied by mr. shen jiawen, personnel department of the education bureau of suzhou industrial park, and the staff of sujiao international came to our school for a visit and exchange. principal jiao xiaojun, vice president ding yongqing, vice president li xingming, vice president ma dachuan and heads of relevant departments of the school warmly welcomed the finnish guests from afar.

president jiao xiaojun extended a sincere welcome to the visit of finnish education experts and led them to visit xinglan plaza, reader base, steam classroom, xinglan gallery, library and other rooms. finnish experts have fully affirmed the teaching environment and facilities of our school.

the experts also appreciated our sporting feature – cheerleading performances. the children's powerful movements and enthusiastic performances impressed the experts.

after that, finnish education experts came to the meeting room, and the two sides carried out in-depth exchanges and discussions. with the theme of “building a brain-friendly school”, president jiao xiaojun introduced the educational philosophy and characteristics of our school to the guests. the finnish principal also had an in-depth discussion with our school on the concept of education, home-school communication and other issues, and further explored our common philosophy and goal of education, and the two sides had a good conversation.
