according to the jiangsu provincial department of education's "public announcement on the key projects of foreign cooperation and exchange in basic education and vocational education in 2022", xing lan school was awarded the project of ‘2022 key construction projects for foreign cooperation and exchange in basic education and vocational education’, shortlisted for establishment and funded!

with the school motto of "gaining wisdom, promising the world", xinglan school has an open and tolerant attitude towards culture, encouraging students to be in the present and looking at the world, and cultivating outstanding students with international vision.

since 2019, our school has started a friendship exchange with camberwell high school in australia. the australian students have had face-to-face exchanges with our students. the commencement of the study activities has laid the foundation for further study and exchange between the two schools to follow.

due to the epidemic, communication between the two sides was changed to online. the students exchanged and communicated with camberwell high school via the online approach. students from xing lan school gave presentations on traditional chinese festivals, chinese sportsmen and women, traditional suzhou customs, famous places in suzhou and sweet and fragrant traditional foods, demonstrating the beauty and serenity of the ancient city of suzhou, the long and beautiful history of china and the endless wisdom of the chinese people. the students on both sides benefited greatly.

the exchange and interaction between students from both schools made english learning in a cross-cultural context more lifelike and interesting. students not only learned about the cultures of the two countries, but also promoted friendship between the youths, and the students in our school were able to improve their english skills and become more mature and broad-minded.
