Conference Registration

Registration for the conference is now open and is via the University of Portsmouth online booking system. All attendees, including invited speakers, must register in advance of the Conference.

Accommodation is not included in any of the packages. Attendees will have the option of booking a room in The Queens Hotel when registering (subject to availability as space is limited). Special rates have been secured for other hotels, but these need to be booked using the methods specified on the ‘Accommodation’ page. You can access further details on accommodation options here.

Please note there are no day packages.

Conference Rates

Conference packages include attendance at all 3 days of the conference, the plenary session, lunches and refreshments. It also includes the drinks reception at the historic HMS Warrior on Wednesday night and gala dinner on Thursday night at Earlybird and Standard rate (subject to availability as space is limited).

The drinks reception and gala dinner are not included in the Late rate, but separate tickets may be purchased for these events if places remain available.

Please note that presenters of papers must register before the end of standard registration, or risk being removed from the programme. 

Postgraduate Rates

There is a single package for postgraduate students that includes all three days of the conference, lunches and refreshments, and entrance to the plenary. The wine reception and gala dinner are included for attendees who register by 23.59 on 24th February (subject to availability as space is limited). Registrations on and after 25th February will have the option of paying an additional fee to attend both, if places remain available.

Please note that presenters of papers and posters must register by 23.59 on 24th February 2020, or risk being removed from the programme. 

For the purposes of registering for the conference, a postgraduate student is a delegate who is registered for a postgraduate degree at a higher education institution, and who does not also hold a full-time academic appointment at a higher education institution, or other full time job.
